PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Roanoke Rapids City Council will hold an evidentiary public hearing on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 5:15 p.m. at the Lloyd Andrews City Meeting Hall located at 700 Jackson Street to hear following item:
A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) request from Anthony Floyd (Applicant) and Dan Williams (property owner) to operate a private social club with alcohol sales, generally labeled as a “bar”, at 310 Roanoke Avenue. The proposed use location is the 1,900 sq. ft. middle storefront in a one-story building with three (3) storefronts This parcel is identified as Halifax County Tax Parcel 0901225, with 0.241± acre (10,500 sq. ft.) in a B-1, Commercial District.
Related information is available for public inspection in the Planning and Development office at the J. Reuben Daniel City Hall, 1040 Roanoke Avenue. Any persons, firms, organizations or corporations interested in this matter are urged to attend these meetings.
