Gladys Marie Pope Clements, 85, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wray Clements Sr., parents, Eldridge Lee Pope and Virginia Garris Pope, daughter, Pam Hale, and sisters Gracie and Elizabeth Pope.

Gladys is survived by her sons, Jimmy Wray Clements Jr., Robert Clements and Stephen Lee Clements (Macy), grandchildren, David King Jr. (Jackie), Sarah Clements, Robert Clements Jr., Jimmy Clements III (Chelsea) and Jessie Lewis and Nathan Clements, great grandchildren, Lucas and Mason Floyd and Nathaniel Clements, and brother, Linwood Pope.

Gladys was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved cooking and enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling with her husband, Jimmy.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Wrenn Funeral Home from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. A memorial service will immediately follow starting at 2:30pm with Pastor Wesley Agee officiating.
