I would like to extend my gratitude to the Halifax County residents who attended our most recent community open house.

We are grateful for the time you took to ask questions and share your perspectives.

Additionally, I would like to thank Ralph’s BBQ for supplying the event with delicious food.

It was evident that residents deeply care about the county’s future. Attendees noted strong interest in high-paying jobs, lifelong careers, and continued growth.

We understand that a project like this raises important questions, and we are committed to full transparency. It is our duty to consider potential issues on the front end, so that we can mitigate risks and protect the public. We appreciate the feedback.

The project will bring $25 million in direct investment to the county, more than 20 high-paying jobs, and over $300,000 in annual tax revenue.

These funds can be used to support Halifax County’s infrastructure, including roads and schools.

Our project leverages valuable local resources while prioritizing environmental stewardship and community interests, creating opportunities for valuable partnerships and long-term growth. We look forward to future conversations, and our lines are always open.

Thank you again for your engagement.

Sincerely,

John Cross
