The Eagles jumped out front in the first inning and the two teams went back and forth leading each other, but when the top of the seventh inning rolled around the Jackets held the Eagles and earned the win 9-8.
Breanna Allen pitched the complete seven inning game allowing six hits, had five strike-outs, walked three batters and hit one player by pitch.
The Jackets led the hitting with ten team hits. Cassidy Dickens had a bunt single and two singles, Megan Colston had three singles and one RBI, Kaitlin Rogerson had a double, a single and three RBI's, Breanna Allen had a triple, and Lizzy Colston had a double with two RBI's.
Post game comments from Jackets head coach Steve Milligan, "I am Happy with a great win. Breanna went the distance on the mound for us. We fought from behind in the seesaw game and we held them to the end."
