The Roanoke Rapids JV Yellow Jackets baseball team beat the Warren County JV Eagles 13-3 in five innings at Doyle filed Tuesday night.

The JV Jackets had six hits and only three strike-outs.

RRHS JV Pitchers struck out six Eagle batters and gave up six hits allowing only one earned run. Ethan Vincent started on the mound and pitched two solid innings before handing the duties over to Trevor Harrison who closed the game out pitching three innings, striking out four, giving up 2 walks and allowing no runs.

Post game comments from JV Jackets head coach Aubrey Coker, "Defensively we are continuing to play solid, but offensively still struggle to make solid contact at the plate. I am proud of Ethan Vincent and Trevor Harrison's performance on the mound. They both gained confidence which is crucial as a pitcher. We need to be more aggressive at the plate and focus on basic fundamentals and mechanics as we prepare for Bunn on Monday."
