Two additional cases of COVID-19 in Halifax County were have been confirmed this afternoon.
As of 2:30 this afternoon, the Halifax County Public Health system added one additional positive novel coronavirus case to its count, bringing its total to 33 positive cases.
There are now 32 positive novel coronavirus cases in Halifax County, health system Director Bruce Robistow reported this afternoon.
The executive director of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission released the following statement this morning regarding the novel coronavirus and it relates to social distancing and avoiding mass gatherings.
A Halifax County company is one of 20 in the state to receive a portion of $665,630 in the state Department of Environmental Quality’s Recycling Program grant.
