Senate Bill 214 has been pulled from the House calendar for today but is still up for discussion by the Senate at 4, according the calendar.

House District 27 Representative Rodney Pierce is still holding a press conference on the matter this morning at 11.

The Senate bill seeks to allow Franklin County the authority to condemn land in neighboring counties without their consent.

Those counties include Halifax, Vance, and Warren counties under Part V, Section 5 of Senate Bill 214.
