A Roanoke Rapids man charged in a February armed robbery in the city limits is in federal custody and awaits a January 23 detention hearing before a United States magistrate judge in Greenville.
A federal indictment ties Deandre Lamont “DD” Miles, who was arrested last month on fentanyl trafficking charges in Granville County, to a Roanoke Rapids man — Terry Louis Kearney — who was federally indicted Tuesday.
A traffic stop Tuesday afternoon led to the arrest of a man in an attempted robbery at BB&T Monday night and an armed robbery at Fisher Auto Parts the evening of January 8.
