HCC, energy center form partnership

The Center for Energy Education and Halifax Community College have announced the execution of a partnership agreement in support of renewable energy education and workforce training.

Roanoke Rapids police and the City County Drug Task Force confirm a traffic stop at the intersection of East Tenth Street and Park Avenue Tuesday led to a search warrant execution on Rightmyer Drive later that evening.

The City County Drug Task Force seized counterfeit money and bulk legitimate currency during execution of a search warrant in the 400 block of Rightmyer Drive.
