Littleton man charged in July wallet, handbag larceny

A Littleton man was arrested Saturday for a July 23 breaking and entering.

Sergeant J. Langley of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office charged Ronald McDonald, 65, with felony breaking and entering and two counts of larceny after breaking and entering.
Chief Deputy Scott Hall said in a statement McDonald allegedly stole a wallet and handbag from a victim in the Littleton area. The items have not been recovered.
McDonald was jailed on $3,000 secured bond and awaits a September 28 court date.
Officer Alex Green of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department assisted in the arrest.
