A board of elections meeting planned today to allow James Mills to protest the results of the November 5 municipal election was postponed and will be held next Tuesday.
The Halifax County Board of Elections will give James Mills, who lost to incumbent Leonard Bunting in the Scotland Neck mayoral race, a chance to formally prove his opponent violated buffer zones regulations.
James Mills, who was defeated in the November 5 Scotland Neck mayoral race by incumbent Leonard Bunting, is protesting the outcome of that race.
