Thomas was born in Fluvanna County, Virginia the son of the late Stuart Romney Glass ad Mamie Williams Glass. He was a retired Allstate Insurance agent in Prince George VA and a long time active member of Lake Gaston Baptist Church.
Surviving are: three daughters, Patricia A. Glass, of Crossville, TN, Dell Glass Taylor and her husband Roy of Midlothian, VA and Rebecca Glass Irby of Henrico, NC; a son Tommy Glass, Jr. and his wife Vandy of Chester, VA; a brother Carroll Ray Glass of Lake City, FL; three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 am, lake Gaston Baptist Church, with Rev. Patrick edwards officiating. interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive at the church for one hour prior to services.
