Letha was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late Tom and Etter Crane Brashier. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Alvin and John Thomas Brewer, grandson Cody Tippett; siblings, Mae Belle, Mary Lou, Annie, Jewell, Tom Jr, Lloyd, Luther and Charles.

Letha is survived by her daughters, Marguerite Brashier of Oklahoma, Amy Christner and her husband, Steven of Gaston, Dawn Brewer and her husband, Mike Mosley of Roanoke Rapids, and special daughter, Hilda Arp of Roanoke Rapids; grandchildren, Thomas Shoemake, Timothy Shoemake, Tanya Shoemake, Linwood Brewer, Tiffany House, Cortney Groves, Charles Brewer, Cameron Tippett Aaron Walters and special grand children, Andrew Sanguillen and Kristopher Casey; several great grandchildren; brothers, Ernest Brashier and his wife Carol and Lee Roy Brashier both of Oklahoma.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 15, 2017 at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Dr. Dennis W. Gregory, Sr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Cemetery in Gaston.

The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-8:30 at the Funeral Home and other times at 926 Hickory Hollow Road Gaston.
