Lady Patriots tournament champions

The Cornerstone Christian School Lady Patriots basketball team ended their 2016-17 season with two wins in the CAANC tournament.

Cornerstone Christian beat Garnett Christian in game one 56-11 to advance to the championship game, then Cornerstone Christian beat Heritage Christian from Zebulon 56-37 to take home the CAANC championship.

Scoring during the two tournament games were:

Ella Frances King with 45 points

Hana Brown with 27 points

Casie Crawley with 15 points

Anna Grace King with 8 points

Jade Roberts with 7 points

Abi Sloan with 5 points

Lindsey Shaw with 4 points

 

CAANC All Conference team:

Ella Frances King, Hana Brown and Casie Crawley.

 

CAANC All Tournament:

Hana Brown, Casie Crawley

 

MVP of the tournament was Ella Frances King.

 

The Lady Patriots finished the year 8-0 in conference and 17-2 overall.
