GCP took the opening kick off from their own 15 yard line to the Gaston 3 yard line before fumbling the football. After a great defensive stance, Jamar Banks scored on the next GCP possession from 3 yards out and GCP never looked back. Johnny Cruz led the offensive attack with 11 carries for 102 yards with 2 touchdowns and two 2 point conversions. Semaj Mitchell finished with 7 carries for 95 yards and one touchdown. Jamar Banks finished with 8 carries for 61 yards and 2 touchdowns. Malik Lee finished with 5 carries for 20 yards. Antonio Lawrence had two 2 point conversions.

GCP defense was a team effort led by Antonio Lawrence, Micah Porch, Malik Lee and Kale Sutton with 5 tackles a piece. Sutton also had one pass deflection. Semaj Mitchell, Xavier Clements, Markese Gorham and Jesse Butler had 2 tackles a piece.
