RRHS staff beats students on court to raise funds for SkillUSA

The newly formed Roanoke Rapids High School's SkillsUSA student organizationl hosted its first fundraising event Tuesday night inside RRHS gym.

Two teams of RRHS students battled each other to face off against the winner of two faculty teams in an epic match-up of volleyball Championship.

In the end, the Roanoke Rapids faculty team outlasted the students 25-21 for the win.

SkillsUSA is a national membership association serving high school, college and middle school students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations, and for further education. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel.
