Local Halifax County Dirt track returning to life in 2019. 

Most people know the 3/10 mile Halifax County dirt track as former Clary’s Motor Speedway located in Brinkleyville. RRspin Sports has confirmed from former tack owner that the papers have been signed and the process has began for the purchase with new owners. 

The track will be renamesd as Halifax County Motor Speedway. 

The track will open up under new management in April 2019 and will host 7 different classes through out the year  featuring Late Model, Limited Sportsman, Open Wheel Modified, Pure Stock V8, Super Stock 4 cylinders, Pure Stock 4 cylinders, and U-Car. HCMS will also host the I-95 Late Model Challenge 3 times a year. 

The new owners promoted this track back in 2017 and ran 15 races that year with a lot of big events such as 3 - I-95 Late Model Challenges, Monk Memorial July 4th Race, Pure Stock V8 Special paying $2200.00 to win, Side by Side ATV racing,  Extra purse money for the Limited Sportsman, U-Car, Super Stock 4 and Pure Stock 4 plus held a Awards Banquet in December 2017.
