Edward James Handy 78, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dudley Handy and Bertha Williams.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Gilliland Handy, son, Kevin Handy, daughter, Tracie Paul (Chris), grandchildren, Austin Paul and his wife Millicent, Hanna Paul, Kaitlyn Handy, Madison Davis and Michelle Williams mother of Kaitlyn and Madison.

Edward enjoyed working on lawnmowers, gardening and watching old western movies. He was married to Ellen Gilliland Handy for 58 years. Edward was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Old Cedarwood Cemetery starting at 11:00 am with Pastor Sue Owens officiating.
