Jessica Clay Clements, 39, passed away on July 4, 2024. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Luke Clements, sons, Logan Clements and Lyndon Clements, parents, Susan Murphy (Pat) and Frankie Clay (Robin), sister, Abby Smith (Kreigh), brother, Derrick Clay (Crystal), grandmothers, Judith Clary “Gigi”, Virginia Gupton and Virgie Clay, mother and father in law, Steve and Teresa Clements, grandmother in law, Virginia Mae Clements, brother in law, Josh Clements (Taylor) and their two sons Jackson and Owen, and furbabies, Annabell and Winston Forest. Jessica is preceded in death by her grandfathers, MJ Spragins, Luke Murphy, Vester Clay, Papa Ray Gupton and Eric Clary, grandmother, Hilda Murphy, grandfather in law, CR Clements, and furbaby, Bailey Clements.

Jessica loved her sons and husband unconditionally. 

She enjoyed going to their sporting events and taking them on adventures, loved her Gigi and her family very deeply. Jessica was a dedicated mother and a bright light for everyone around her. 

She loved to laugh and spend time with her family. 

She loved to listen to Lyndon say “the giraffe smelled him butt” and Logan say “good shot, good shot.”

Jessica was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and granddaughter. She enjoyed helping the elderly at Pine Forest Rest Home, and taking the residents out to eat. Jessica loved her horse Sam, music, her dogs, and the ocean. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Valley Community Church 1215 Julian R Allsbrook Hwy, Weldon, NC 27890 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the family farm starting at 7:00pm with Pastor Bruce Collier officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Activities Department at Pine Forest Rest Home 3277 NC-35, Woodland, NC 27896 in memory of Jessica. 

The family is requesting for people attending the services to wear cheerful colors in the celebration of her life.
