Melvin Frank Moseley, 73, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Vidant Medical Center, in Greenville, NC.

Melvin was born on January 6, 1947, in Northampton County, NC, the son of the late Charlie H. Moseley and Ruth Bennett Moseley. He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Lois Acree, Dorothy Potter Allen, Corine Hammack Council and Virgie Parks.

He was a great father, loving husband, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a long-time building contractor, who took great pride in his work.

Surviving are: his wife of 53 years, Glenda Baird Moseley; a daughter Connie Moseley,  a son Jason Moseley and his wife Missy; a granddaughter Adrienne Moseley, all of Roanoke Rapids, NC; three brothers, Sam Moseley and his wife Beulah, Milton Moseley, Herman Moseley and his wife Ruth, all of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two sisters Barbara Ranson of Richmond, VA and Carolyn Moseley of Roanoke Rapids, NC.

The Family will receive July 22, 2020, from 10:00 AM until service time, at Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service. 

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM, with Ministers Daniel West and Chris Hux officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC.
