James Thomas Ingram, 84, died Saturday, June 13, 2020.
A native of Roanoke Rapids, Jim was the son of the late James Moses Ingram and Rose Pearson Ingram.
He graduated from Roanoke Rapids High School, UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelors Degree and Virginia Commonwealth University with a Masters Degree in Pharmacy.
Jim retired from the United States Navy Medical Corps after a distinguished career.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin sisters, Margaret Anne Pruden and Betty Wynn Neal.
A very private person, Jim loved to read and loved going to the ocean. He was also a devoted caregiver to his sister Margaret Anne.
Jim is survived by his brother, Ralph Pearson Ingram and his wife, Renate Bertram Ingram, two nieces, Anne Pruden Spragins and Paige Ingram Fox, and two nephews, William H. Pruden II and Grey Pearson Ingram.
Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Joe Sandoval officiating.
