Roanoke Rapids police are looking for a teen and a 20-year-old man in a shooting which occurred on Prince Street this morning around 11:30.

Chief Shane Guyant said Zamarion Scott, 18, and Travis Robinson, 20, both of Roanoke Rapids shot into an occupied residence in the 100 block as the result of an earlier argument.

Guyant said Scott and Robinson followed one of the people involved in the earlier argument home and started shooting at the residence.

Officers and investigators arrived on the scene and located numerous spent shell casings fired from two distinctly different caliber firearms in the roadway.

“At the time the residence was occupied by adults and children,” Guyant said. “Fortunately, no one was injured. However, this type of settling an argument is both dangerous and ignorant.”

They are considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444 or its website
