The Roanoke Rapids Police Department and Safe Kids Halifax County will hold a child passenger safety seat inspection station Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event will be held in the Walmart parking lot and is in observance of National Child Passenger Safety Week.  

Certified technicians will be on hand to ensure child passenger safety seats are installed and sized correctly.  

This is a rain or shine event.
