A Weldon man was arrested last week in an October 19 breaking and entering in which two televisions were stolen.
Major Scott Hall of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said in a statement Deputy Stephan Bryant responded to Reagan Drive around 10:30 a.m. to investigate.
During the investigation, Bryant identified Curtis Antonio Ramsey, 36, an acquaintance of the victim, as the alleged suspect and secured warrants for his arrest.
Later the same day, the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office notified Bryant their deputies had Ramsey in custody.
Bryant charged Ramsey with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen property and injury to real property.
Ramsey was placed in the Halifax County Detention Center on $6,000 bond with a November 18 court date pending.
