A Nashville man died today following a single-vehicle crash on Beaverdam Road in the Enfield area.
Sergeant J.M. Doston of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said 66-year-old Parker McKinley was driving south when he ran off the road to the right, struck a ditch and overturned. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A preliminary report by Trooper J.J. Lynch indicates neither speed nor alcohol contributed to the crash.
