Two Littleton residents have been charged with the theft of several televisions in December, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Detective Harold Phillips said Rashon Woodley and Tracey Daniels, both 21, face counts of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

The crimes occurred in the Summit area.

This month, Phillips said, Deputy J. Allen responded to the area on a breaking and entering call, leads he developed helping solve the two cases.

Roanoke Rapids police located the pair and served Allen's warrants.

“I would like to thank the citizens for their help with this,” Phillips said in a statement. “It proves that communities and neighbors that lookout for one another can make a difference.”

Bonds were both set at $5,000 and they were given a court date of February 12.
