Roanoke Rapids police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred shortly before 10:45 this morning at Southern Bank on Tenth Street.

Roanoke Rapids police have issued no statement thus far but several media outlets are reporting the North Carolina Bankers Association is offering a reward that leads to an arrest an indictment.
