A new Bonjangles’ will replace the existing one on East Tenth Street.

Benjy Layman, a project manager for the Isaacs Group, said the new one will be built just south of the existing restaurant.

He said the new restaurant will be slightly larger and will feature the latest design with a few changes in the color scheme.

The existing building will be torn down once the new restaurant, which will front East Tenth Street is built, he said. The old restaurant will remain open during construction.

The new building will be 3,808 square feet, according to a building plan filed with the city.
