The Friday night's Northampton County football home game against Weldon was called in the third quarter when a Weldon football player was injured and was airlifted to an area hospital.
Billed as the Bracy Bowl because of the friendly sibling rivalry between the superintendents of the Weldon — Elie Bracy III — and Northampton — Eric — school districts, the game between their two high schools came down to a display of defensive force and ended with the Northampton Jaguars hoisting the game's trophy in a 20-0 win over the Chargers this evening.
Weldon coach Grady Williams said it came down to who was hungriest.
