Weldon's Arrington airlifted Friday night

The Friday night's Northampton County football home game against Weldon was called in the third quarter when a Weldon football player was injured and was airlifted to an area hospital.

Northampton County won the ball game 40-0, but Weldon lost more than the game. Weldon's Senior Kevin Arrington was injured and was airlifted. RRspin.com Sports confirmed by Arrington's father Alvin Arrington, Kevin Arrington had a concussion his freshman season also received another concussion Friday night against the same team as before. 

According to Mr. Arrington, Kevin just took 2 plays off on offense came back in then had a helmet to helmet hit with four defensive players bringing him down. Kevin was flown to vidant because he blackout for a few seconds. Mr. Arrington stated to RRspin, "Once Kevin sees his doctor next week, that's when we will be see about the rest of the season.

Kevin walked out on his own Saturday morning after being released from Vidant Medical Center in Greenville with another concussion. 

Before Friday's game, Arrington had one game stats with 6 for 18 passes for 146 yards with 3 touchdowns, and two interceptions.
