Angela was born in Suffolk, Virginia.

She was a graduate of Ferrum College, with a Master’s Degree in Psychology. Angela formerly worked in the Home Health Care Industry. She was dedicated to her family and friends. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Emmitt Ferrell.
Surviving are her husband, Chris Griffin, of the home; her mother Frances C. Ferrell, of Pleasant Hill, NC; two sons, Justin Ferrell and Cody Williams, both of the home; daughter, Destiny Griffin, of the home; sister, Jackie Dean and her husband, Joe, of Pleasant Hill, NC; other special family are Dennis and Debbie Griffin, Heidi Crowley, Tiffany and Lee Pilgrim, all of New Bern ,NC, Holley Griffin, of Gaston, NC, Jonathan Griffin, of Greenville, NC, Morgan Cameron, of Greenville, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmie Cox officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the cemetery and residence.
