Allen returns to diamond

The Roanoke Rapids High school Lady Yellow Jacket alumni Brianna Allen returned to the softball diamond, tis time as a ECU Pirate Club Softball team.

Allen a 2015 Roanoke Rapids graduate and Lady Jacket four year starter attempted to walk-on at ECU softball back in 2015 with several return calls to show her talent, but a full infield roster made it impossible for Allen to become a Pirate.

Allen recently made the ECU Club softball team which is basically the minor league team of the D1 college teams. This past Saturday the ECU Club softball team traveled to Raleigh to take o the NC State Wolf pack Club team in three games.

Allen played in game one and three with the Pirates falling in game one, but rebounded to win games two and three.
