JV Jackets sting Eagles in four innings

The Roanoke Rapids JV Yellow Jackets baseball team beat the Warren County Eagles 22-1 in 4 innings Friday afternoon.

Carson Neal pitched all 4 innings for the JV Jackets giving up only 2 hits and striking out 6 batters.

At the Plate for the Jackets, Cameron Medlin, Jacob Deberry, Carson Neal, and Colin Long all had 2 hits.

Ethan Vincent entered the game in the 3rd inning at second base, Doubled and scored twice in the final 2 Innings.

Post game comments by JV Jackets head coach Aubrey Coker, "The team played well considering the very cold conditions and wind. We will travel Monday to play Northern Nash at 4{30 PM."
