Then completed conference play by winning the NCC2A conference tournament with a win against Warren County 51-47. It was the third win over rival Warren County.  This marks the first time since 1999 the ladies have won a conference title and only the third time in school history.  

Finishing conference play with the championship and then to back it up with the tournament win is every coaches dream and this one is no exception.   This team came together and peaked at the absolute right time to make this all happen. 

So, now Roanoke Rapids proceed to the next step, state playoffs hosting Carboro High School at the "Hive" Tuesday night February 21st at 6:00pm.  This makes the second year in a row that the girls host the first round.
