The Weldon Police Department reported the following:

Thursday, September 15, 2016
At approximately 3:22 a.m., Officer Quinton Godley responded to a call at a facility in the 1600 block of Julian Allsbrook Highway.
A man was reported on premises following customers to their cars and refusing to leave the area.
Herman Blount Jr., 54, of Gaston, was arrested for second-degree trespassing and disorderly conduct. He has a November 16 court date.

At approximately 4:26 p.m., Sergeant Thomas Mason responded to a call in the 400 block of Mackie Street.
Ernest Edmonds Jr., 54, of Weldon, was arrested for communicating threats and second-degree trespassing. He has a $1,000 secured bond and September 27 court date.
Officer Michael Sledge assisted.

Saturday, September 17, 2016
At approximately 1 p.m., Officer Noland Coles received a call regarding a car theft.
The victim stated their car was parked near River Falls Park where it was entered and personal property stolen.

Monday, September 19, 2016
At approximately 9:09 p.m., Officer William Wheeler was informed of warrants on suspects in the area of Fewell Avenue. Lisa Sykes, 52, of Weldon was arrested for breaking and entering as well as damage to real property.
She has a $1,000 unsecured bond and November 16 court date.
