While talking to the driver, Harris noticed the passenger, identified as 23-year-old Jessica Millicent Patterson, was reportedly acting nervous.
He requested assistance and Agent D.R. Radford, as well as Roanoke Rapids officers Roy Ball and Hannah Grimes arrived.
Harris said the woman turned over the cocaine, which he described as a user amount.
Patterson was charged with felony possession of cocaine.
She received a $1,000 bond and November 30 court date.
Agent D.J. Hundley and Halifax Regional security also assisted.
