Enfield PD roundup: August 20-25, 2016

Enfield police Chief Tyree Davis reported the following:

On August 20 around 2:30 a.m., Officer Eric Johnson stopped a vehicle for a violation in the area of Market Street.
Johnson identified the driver as 36-year-old Deyontye Terrell Blue.
Johnson charged and arrested Blue for DWI.
He received a $1,000 Bond. His court date is set for September 21.
On August 24,Tony D. Johnson, 33, of Enfield, surrendered to Officer Willie Hammiel at the police department.
Johnson had an outstanding order for arrest for failing to appear in court in Nash County on a DWI charge.
He received a $1,000 bond and his court date is set for September 20.
On August 25, around 11 a.m., Hammiel arrested Tyrell D. Speight, 20, from Enfield, in the 400 block of N. W. Railroad Street on five outstanding orders for arrest out of Wake County.
Hammiel saw Speight walking along N.W. Railroad Street and knew he had warrants.
Hammiel arrested Speight without trouble.
Four of the OFA’s were for were possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and one was for misdemeanor larceny. Speight received a $2,700 bond and has several court dates in Wake County.
