This is simply the point of departure from which the Realignment Committee will begin its work in earnest in January of 2016.  Schools will get a chance to review the plan and make suggestions in writing for the committee to discuss at their next meeting, and the schools will also have meetings to discuss it after the first of the year.

Once finalized, the realignment plan would go in to effect starting with the 2017-18 school year.
