South Granville won the first match 66-18 with the results as follows:

Head coach DA White had these comments after the matches, "It is a good feeling being 5-1 this far in the season with such a young team. South Granville is a good team and I expect them to win the conference this year. We still have a lot to work on in practice."

Roanoke Rapids next match is Friday against Louisburg.
