The theft was reported on Sunday around 3 p.m. It is believed the theft took place around 6 a.m. on Sunday, according to Major Scott Hall.

While a misdemeanor, Hall said, “Any and all thefts are important no matter how big or small the loss may be and we're committed to doing any and everything we can to assist our victims.”

Anyone with information on the identity of the person is asked to call Deputy Josh Langley at 252-583-8201 or Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
