Man sought for ice box parts theft

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly caused $34,000 in damages to ice boxes last month at Roanoke Valley Ice.

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is currently looking into a suspicious person who made contact and inappropriate comments to children.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol is reaching out to the community for assistance with hit and run collisions that have yet to be solved.

HP urges caution, safety during holiday

The state Highway Patrol is reminding motorists to be careful as they enjoy the Labor Day holiday. According to AAA, 34.7 million people are expected travel during the Labor Day period.

A Rocky Mount man and woman are wanted in several attempted breaking and entering cases that occurred between Halifax and Enfield.
