The Halifax Academy Lady Viking softball team improved to 5-1 over all Tuesday with a win 2-0 win at home against Arendell Parrott Academy.

Ashlyn Cooke pitched all 7 innings for the Lady Vikings allowing 7 hits, 1 K and 1 walk.

Hits for the Lady Vikings were:

Ashlynn Liles with 3 singles and 1 RBI

Ashlyn Cooke with 2 doubles and 1 RBI

Morgan Hudomint with 2 singles,

while Berkley Garner and Ashton Knight had a single each
