The Halifax Academy Varsity Vikings football team finished their 2018 regular season Friday night on the road at Hobgood against Northeast/Hobgood Academy.

Halifax outlasted the Eagle/Radiers winning 34-28 and earned the 2018 Colonial Carolina Conference titile and head the the NCISAA 1A State Football playoffs.

Also, Eli Harris was voted the Defensive Player of the Year for the 2nd year in a row, and Pete Edwards won Coach of the Year for the 2nd year in a row.

#1 seed Halifax will host #4 seed Pungo at 7:00 on Friday in the semifinals of the NCISAA 1-A state playoffs.
