The Roanoke Rapids basketball teams hosted conference rival Bunn High Tuesday night at the Hive.
The Roanoke Rapids JV Yellow Jackets boys team earned a 52-44 win and are 7-4 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
Yellow Jackets top scorers were:
Jackson Vincent with 21 points
Austin Geary with 13 points
The Roanoke Rapids varsity girls fell to Bunn 43-33 and are 9-5 overall and 4-2 in the conference play.
The varsity boys yellow Jackets came up just short and fell to Bunn 62-60 and are still winless with a 0-15 overall record.
