While old man Winter had it cold on the outside, the Weldon Chargers kept the court hot on the inside of the Weldon gym Friday night.

It wasn't the gym that was hot, it was the players bringing the heat as all three Weldon teams walked away with a win. But let it be known that the KIPP High Panthers came to play and they made sure that the Chargers earned every point they got. It was a well played game on both ends and the fans got to see some good ball playing.

The JV won by a score of 75-39. The girls won 71-13 and the boys got a 72-50 win.

The Chargers will be playing Southeast Halifax on Saturday and tip off will be at 3 pm.
