The RRHS Varsity Baseball team took their first loss of the season on Thursday night by a score of 4-3 to Northern Nash. 
Carson Duncan started on the mound and threw six strong innings with 4 strikeouts for the Jackets.  Maddox Bullock pitched one inning with 2 strikeouts. 
Leading hitters for RRHS were Maddox Bullock and Shep Fowler who each had two hits, while Collin Elias, Wil White, and Carson Duncan all had one hit apiece.  
The Yellow Jackets are now 4-1 on the season and 2-1 in conference play.  The next game for RRHS is Friday 3/15 at Martin County at 6pm.  
 
In the first game of the day, the RRHS JV Baseball team had a come from behind 6-5 win over Northern Nash.  Dylan Dixon picked up the win on the mound and had the walk-off single to win the game.  Daryn Epps started on the mound for the Yellow Jackets and was relieved by Dixon.  Collecting hits for RRHS were Sawyer Williams, Bryce Manning, Connor Melson, Montreal Ham, Wes Jenkins, and Dylan Dixon.
