Ernest Lee Fulghum Jr. — “Pee Wee” — 86 of Raleigh passed away Saturday May 20, 2023 at Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center. 

Pee Wee was born in Raleigh, North Carolina to the late Ernest Lee and Etta Wood Fulghum. He is preceded in death by his parents, former wife Sondra Y. Fulghum, daughter, Victoria M. Miller, sister, Janie F. Dennis, brothers, T.W. Fulghum, Bill Fulghum, and Howard Fulghum.

Pee Wee is survived by his daughter Tracy F. Vincent (Steve), son Michael Milone (Bonnie), sisters, Peggy F. Wood, Betsy F. Williams, Judy F. Gay, brother, Larry Fulghum, seven grandchildren, Rose, Franco, Matthew, Nicholas, Betsey, Ethan, and Andrew, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends especially Tony Coates.

Pee Wee served our country for twenty years in the United States Air Force in which he retired. He enjoyed playing pool, cards, watching sports especially baseball, and he loved spending time with family and friends. 

A memorial service will be held at Longview Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., visitation will immediately follow in the fellowship hall.
