Phyllis Diane Rhea Hasty, 71 of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at ECU North Hospital.
Mrs. Hasty was born on August 17, 1951, the daughter of the late Hazel Frances Brown and Mack White Rhea.

Surviving include her husband James Douglas Hasty, her sons: William Mack Hasty (Shelby) and Winfield James Hasty, her daughter Susan Hasty (Tarron), her brothers Bobby Rhea and Ronnie Rhea (Vicky), her sister Janet Turner, 8 grandchildren: David, Erik, Jackson, Kalissa, Liam, Hayes, and Jesse, Daniel, and their mother Samantha Workman, several nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend Salli Wood Acai (John).
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Cedarwood Cemetery.
