Lawrence Dustin “Duddy” Carroll
Lawrence Dustin “Duddy” Carroll died Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He was 30 years old.
A native of Roanoke Rapids, Duddy was the son of Churchill Carroll Jr. and the late Nancy Anne Curly.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter; Naduska Carroll.
He was a hard worker who was a carpenter by trade. He loved to play sports and was known as a jokester. Duddy had a big heart and would give anyone in need the shirt off his back.
He dearly loved music, but his main love was for his family, especially his son Dustin.
Duddy is survived by his father; Churchill Carroll Jr, his beloved son Dustin Chase Carroll, brothers; Christopher Curley, Dallas Hollowell, Trevor Carroll, sisters; Casey Hollowell, Amber Carroll, Melissa Carroll, step-sisters; Heather Johnson, and Nikota Lynch.
A Celebration of Duddy’s Life Service will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Fresh Fire Assembly of God with Pastor Chris Howerton officiating.
