William Earl Moseley, 77, died Friday, June 28, 2019.

A native of Halifax County, William was the son of the late William Edward Moseley and Margaret Conner Moseley. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife and soulmate Kay Ranhorn Moseley and a brother, John Michael Moseley.

He retired from the Department of Corrections, was a very active member of First Christian Church, and was beloved by his family.

William is survived by his children; Mitzi Buck and her husband Kevin of Gatesville, Matthew Moseley Sr. and his wife Shannon of Darlington, SC, Michael Moseley and his wife Pam, Mark Thomas Moseley and his wife Myriam of Durham, and Melanie Moseley and her fiancée Daniel Dixon, brothers; Albert “Butch” Moseley, Paul Wayne Moseley of Opelika AL, and Wade Moseley of Gaston, sister; Connie Norris of Hopewell, VA, grandchildren; Matthew Jr., Taylor, Michael Jr., Connor, Ethan, Will, and Livi Moseley.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at First Christian Church with Minister Bane Angles officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Wrenn Clarke and Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M.
